Reino Unido literalmente cubierto de nieve

Reino Unido completamente congelado:

Durante el 6 y 7 de Diciembre las temperaturas llegaron a alcanzar los 18 grados bajo cero en algunos lugares, y los 10 bajo cero en muchos más sitios de esta isla.

Estas fuertes nevadas, han provocado la caída de cables eléctricos, dejando a miles de casas sin electricidad, los trabajadores, se tuvieron que quedar en casa el 5 y 6 porque no se podía ir a trabajar por los problemas de transporte. Los aeropuertos ahn tenido que cancelar todos sus vuelos, lo que ha provocado los correspondientes retrasos.

Las frías condiciones tienen mucho que ver con las bajas temperaturas, registradas durante este tiempo, un fenómeno que o bien provoca presiones altas en el Ártico, que es lo que está pasando ahora, o bien el efecto a la inversa.
